We are currently looking for:

 

 

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:

  • Handle internal Security Trade Control (STC) processes
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Provide support to the engineering and business departments
  • Maintain records and filing systems of relevant documents such as quotations, proposals and tenders

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Applications (MS Word and Excel)
  • Possess 2 years’ relevant experience

 

 

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

  • Application design, programming, testing & debugging
  • Responsible for providing support to user on applications-related issues
  • Analyse and identify the cause of issues and provide resolution or work-around solution
  • Database creation, performance tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Strong Java programming skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervisions
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle, including database design and management

 

 

PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • You shall be responsible for monitoring and controlling engineering projects ie. budget control, scheduling, billing etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering Electrical/Mechanical/Project Management
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Good team player and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in project management will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in written and spoken English

 

 

MECHANICAL/ASSISTANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical and structure design for repair, modification, refurbishment and transportation of port container cranes
  • Responsible for generating engineering drawings, specifications and procedures for executing of respective projects
  • Perform quality assurance and control of the projects
  • Site execution and management of Engineering Projects

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Structure or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Good team player and self-motivated
  • Experience in heavy/port engineering industries will be an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Willing to travel and work overseas occasionally when required

 

 

MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • The Group would like to employ a Manager, Business Development to complement its existing business development capabilities

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a technical or project environment and 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing management in equipment or heavy engineering sector
  • Good knowledge of the region’s port and shipping or marine industry is an advantage
  • Multi-disciplinary knowledge in mechanical, structural and electrical engineering, coupled with good commercial knowledge and exposure
  • Accurate costing methodology to estimate costs for quotations and project purposes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to draft technically and commercially sound proposals
  • High level of proficiency in English, working level proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa
  • Overseas traveling of about 30% of time can be expected

 

 

LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange import and export shipments
  • Handling full set of documents pertaining to shipment
  • Liaise with custom/forwarders for update reporting procedure and valuations

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Logistics Management
  • Possess with computer knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Good communication and coordinating skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes and procedures

 

 

HSE COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the HSE program for one or more projects within a workplace site
  • Coordinates and assures compliance with the Risk Management program
  • Implements, coordinates and deliver safety related training programs
  • To maintain and supervise the implementation of HSE plan in accordance to Portek HSEMS, applicable to local legal legislations and clients requirements
  • Any other safety associated functions and processes as instructed/assigned by HSE Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE-O level or Nitec in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ safety related experience
  • Must be able to work independently and to exercise initiative and judgement
  • Must be able to make sound technical decisions and able to apply regulations and procedures in any work situations
  • Good verbal communication skills, able to write reports
  • Assertive, self-starter and able to work under limited supervision to meet HSE objectives
  • Able to perform work at height
  • Must possess advanced certificate in WSH or equivalent
  • Possess work at Height Supervisor/Confined Space Assessor Certificate is preferred

 

 

FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

  • You shall be responsible for full set of accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma holder
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on consolidation account is preferred
