Through its 55% owned subsidiary, PT Serbaguna Terminal, Portek has a concession to operate the equipment at Terminal 009, which is located at the heart of Tanjung Priok Seaport, the largest port in Indonesia. Current throughput at the terminal 009 is about 200,000 TEUs per annum.

Through its 49% joint venture, Bejaia Mediterranean Terminal, Portek holds a concession to jointly operate the Bejaia Mediterranean Terminal with Entreprise Portuaire De Bejaia, Portek handles an annual throughput of about 50000 TEUs.

Through its 75% owned subsidiary, PT Portindo Dinamika, Portek holds a 20-year build-operate-transfer (“BOT”) concession for the development and operation of Banten Port. Situated along the Sunda Straits, Banten Port is ideally located as a gateway for industries located in West Java. Banten Port is geared to handle container, bulk and general cargo. To cater for increasing traffic, Banten Port is currently undergoing a major expansion of its civil and equipment infrastructure.

Portek holds a 25-year concession for the management of the port and harbour,including development and investment of the infrastructure, provision of port and maritime services, collection of port fees and rental. Portek will be implementing a suite of operational processes and IT systems in order to increase efficiency.

  • Equipment maintenance with preventive and predictive techniques, achieving a reliability of 99% and above
  • Crane modification as in height increase, boom extension, and span change
