Case In point

Colon to Manzanillo, under the Bridge of the Americas, 2008
This project represents one of our most complex mobilisations. Starting from Colon, Panama, 2 QCs were mobilised to Manzanillo, Mexico. Although the ports are of close proximity, the 60m high Bridge of the Americas spans the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. Since the height of the QCs on the vessels exceed the height of the bridge, our team had to cut the cranes’ legs in order to reduce their heights by 8m. Upon arrival at Manzanillo, their heights were reinstated by 8m. The whole process took 6 months to complete.
